Cape hyrax
Although hyrax is similar to a rabbit by its dimensions and appearance, it is a relative of elephants. On their soles there they have small cushions being moistured by gland secrets and increasing thus the sole´s adherence to bottom. This enables them climbing even on steep rock areas. It feeds mostly on vegetables, it likes a long grazing and meanwhile the herd is watched by guards. It is interesting that sea cows - sirens are to hyrax and elephants a near group of mammals, but having a different appearance.
