New exhibition areas incorporate several
rooms covered with artificial rock, where cold-blooded animals
(reptiles, amphibians, fishes and invertebrates) are being breeded
in bigger or smaller biotope expositions. To be specific, these
are serpents, turtles, lizards, frogs, butterflies, beetles, tarantulas,
cockroaches, crabs, spectre insects etc. We can find there also
see aquaria, and for example some biotopes of deserts and rain
forests.
Since the opening on 1. 2. 2001, when Akva-Tera was opened in
attendance of South African ambassador Dr. Noel Lehoko, more than
60.000 visitors came through "AKVA".. |
