How you can get to Zoo

  • by a tram no. 1 or 4 (departure at station "u Lékařské fakulty" )
  • by car from townscentre for example:
    Rooseveltova ulice - Rooseveltův most - Lochotínská ulice - Pod vinicemi
  • by car aroundc Kalikovský mlýn
  • by line of city bus number 41 - entrance Vinice
    (all access roads to ZOO Plzeň are marked with black and white traffic indicators with a camel)

You can find a bricked WC in central part, next to entrance and in the "Lüftnerka" estate. Other mobile WCs are laid out through the whole area during the season.

In forest park by the botanical garden (when enterd from "Vinice") there are several playgraunds. When the weather is fine, camel "Josefína" and burro "Kevin" carry children in the neighborhood of a camel paddock.

The main buffeting in the Zoo is next to monkey, reptile and parrots pavilion. There is a club in "Lüftnerka" estate and there are several kiosks in the Zoo area. Stylish snack is being constructed called "Siberian loghouse" and a big restaurant in african style.

Souvenirs can be bought at both entrances.
